Fashion Formula Dresses is a stylish edition to our Fashion Formula collection. This 28 page digital book contains a great collection of easy to sew dresses to add to your summer wardrobe! Every design is based on mathematical formulas and your personal measurements. No worries! All the math has been worked out. By following some simple steps, you will learn to draft your own bodice pieces for the perfect fit. Since all construction is based on your personal measurements, there are no traditional pattern pieces in the book.

Maria Mexican Folk Dress is meant to be soft and flowy and can be worn with or without a belt. The bodice for each dress is fully lined and the construction couldn't be simpler. There is an above knee full gathered skirt version and mid-calf length with a side split and pleated skirt variation. Tips and designs for hand embroidery are included as a center pull-out.

Paige Pillowcase Dress is a classic pillowcase dress design, but all grown up! This is a super comfortable design that is fabulously easy to stitch up. The addition of a row of elastic to the high waist (just under the bust line) gives the bodice a nice fit that is flattering to everyone. The skirt is full without being too much and you will have lots of options on choosing the length as well as whether to make it tiered or one piece. You will also be able to choose between a side front or center back tie at the neckline. Let your inner designer go wild with this one!

Veronica V-Neck Sundress is summery and casual, yet with the right shoes and accessories, it can be quite dressy! The bodice is gathered in the back just with ties at the center back. There are several design options with this dress. You can make it all from one fabric or make it from as many different fabrics as you choose, especially if you decide on the tiered version for the skirt. Border prints also work nicely with this dress so be sure that you don't overlook those at the fabric shop.

The booklet includes illustrations, measurement charts, and detailed instructions for measuring and constructing dresses. Fits bust and hip sizes 32-50 inches.

The complete PDF pattern file is 28 pages. There is a separate file for the embroidery designs. This sheet prints to 17" x 22" size paper. Permission is granted to take this file to a copy shop and print on a larger format printer for this part of the design.

Pattern Correction! Page 11, Step 2 of Drafting the Bodice of the Maria Mexican Folk Dress should read: To mark the neckline, divide Measurement F by 4.
